My 65B was converted to one battery. The positive cable is stuck to the battery. I have taken off the nut, but I can't get the cable off of the terminal. It is stuck on. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it off?
Thanks,
Getting out the battery

Old screwdriver or chisel. Wedge it between the split in the clamp and angle it towards one side of the clamp and tap it with a hammer.
When it gets driven down there a bit, just pry the clamp open and remove.

Pour some Coke on it to clean it up. Let it sit for awhile. Or, get a big screwdriver in there and pry open the post.

Thanks. The screwdriver worked like a charm. Now I just have to get the *)^&* dash off.

Buy a battery post clamp puller--I have one from Sears (Crafstman)---Works like a charm and it avoids twisting or damaging the posts--

The dash on the 65 will not tax you very much. It is just a few nuts, nowhere near as bad as a later car.
