I don't know anything about this new legislation that your talking about, but it is funny that your not that pissed off about the Patriot Act, or the Bush Doctrine. the last president did more to errode personal freedoms and civil liberties of any other president.

I'm not defending what Obama is doing, because I haven't looked into it, but really then Patroit Act?!?!!?

......it means that they have bypassed your elected member of congress, and now it is beaurcratic regulation instead of a legislated law........I have a friend who works for the state,he is an atty, thats his job, to advise and interpret the B-crats on what they can and cannot get away with in their regulations according to our state constitution and laws, remember...these people are NOT elected....they are power mad small time potentates wielding virtually unsupervised power.......this same federal package went before congress and they voted it down as too expensive and strangulating, now it's beyond their concern,they won't worry about it now, which is absolutely frightening............

Remember, Obama has appointed Carol Bronner as EPA director she is a real zealot.
