I cancelled this original post. The fan response was overwhelming.

And a good-bye to you as well. I do not know what burr has crawled up under your saddle, it is none of my business. And I'm not going to fall at your feet to convince you to stay a member. What I can say for certain is that there is a larger number of terrific people here than 'bad apples' and that will never change. Best of luck to you and I hope that you will be able to find a better MGB community to hang with, if not, we'll leave a candle in the window to guide your return. Nuff' said,

Can I be the "Out of work commedian?"
Please? >:D<

Sure. Why not? I'm one of the "cynics at large".:)-D

Couldn't have said it better.
The internet is a dangerous place for the thinned skinned.
Hmmm, if you want a forum that is more genteel, then you'll be the only member I think. As in life in general, you have to take the bad with the good I'm afraid.
We hope you find one more to your liking elsewhere. Nothing wrong with that. That is the reason there are as many out there as there are.
Wow! Didn't see that one coming! Good luck in the after life.
I've had nothing but a lot of help from this motley crew. I must be thick skinned.

Well, if that is a picture of you in your avatar, I would think by now you would be very thick-skinned :)
There are lots of other forums out there,I recognise a few posters on here who use them-no names mentioned.I haven't come across one yet where you get such a response as this forum. In my opinion,a giant leap for mankind was achieved when Peter Burgess joined in.I wait to see the day when John twist himself joins in.Everyones contribution -including yourself,is what makes this forum the best there is,the best there was,and the best there ever will be.Good luck in finding another one. Phil
I think John probably finally sold his MGB, and I'm also guessing there was more in the orginal post than just ( = ). When he ran a classified ad not too long ago, about his car, he got the normal dickhead responses that happen there sometimes, one was about the cost of his engine, NEWSFLASH, you can spend alot more on MGB engine than $6k, and WTH if you do, it's a free country, never judge a man by what he spends, based on what you cannot afford to spend, I fiquire people work hard for their money and should be able to spend it how ever they choose, screw the critics.
When I first came to this site it was full of the duct tape, bandaid on a shot gun wound advice, now that seems to have tapered back, sure there's still rustoleum paint job threads, and slapping bearings in old worn engine threads, but now there seem to be more how to do things properly thread. You know keep the hooby alive direction, rather than just still breathing
The thing I dislike most about the is site, is the "no worth" mentality many on here have, they think this stuff is worth nothing, of course if it's not your's to begin with, a few weeks ago somebody quoted what they thought a early MGB was worth, it was the craziest shit I ever heard here, you know the old, I would not pay more than $500 for that car, the sort of nonsense you see hear way too often. I process and digest the cheap bastards of this hobby daily, I have no time for that nonsense, I perfectly understand if the budget is tight, trust me, I totlally get that, but my lack of funds never made something someone else have worth less. I have a saying at my shop, I don't ever think I said said it here outloud, "half ass people need not apply". I think that's what got to Mr. Smith, he tried to sell a car here and the cheap dumbasses came out of the bushes on him, here's a suggestion, if you not f**king interested on something for sale in the trader section, then shut your freaking pie hole, and let the interested parties deal with each other.
Got it ?
PS good luck to you Mr Smith, may the sun always be at your back and not in your eyes.
John. Couldn't read what your complaint was but could I offer a bit of friendly advice? Last year, I posted a question (a stupid one in retrospect). Among the good answers I got some funny ones (which I embarassingly missed the humour at the time). I spat the dummy and wrote an angry response. Boy, did they let me have it! What worked for me was: I took of my tiara, took a spoonful of cement, climbed off my high horse and thought about what I'd done. I felt so much better!
I live in an isolated location, so picture this: I'm in a huge virtual workshop with scores of mechanics (both professional and amateur) all with the same interest as me (MGBs). I can ask any question I like (deep, dumb etc) and nearly all of them will give me an answer of sorts (some so detailed you'd reckon they actually designed and built the cars)! Others will make a joke (as in any workshop) and others will be less patient (probably thinking - "why doesn't he/she do some research before asking such a lazy question?").
I don't know what you experienced but in my case I have persevered. Result: I ask better more thought-out questions (I hope); I'm not so precious about taking whatever people say to me to heart. I've benefited immensely as I've learned so much (still make massive booboos though) but without the help from these people, I'd be miles behind and my car would not have progressed.
Have a good think before you cut your nose off.
Roger
Hap, I see it on other forums as well. The Vette guys insist you can buy a C5 for 10 grand. Well yeah maybe with 150,000 miles and a roached out interior. And don't even think about mentioning a reconstructed title. Oh crap! those are worthless! Ya know what? It's not their money and I could care less.
I've thought about maybe letting my B go for the right price. I know full well I won't get that here. Half the people believe MGBs are worthless and I think they have the other half brainwashed into believing it.
Hap, Thanks for shedding some light on this. I didn't have a clue where it came from and doubt many others did.

Jim, you know what I always wondered, not like I spend alot of time on the trader section, I can sell more on the phone than here. You know we see these guy come here, know how to do nothing in the beginning, and master nothing in the end, buy a cheap ass gasless mig welder, show us thier chicken shit welds to thier new floorboard panel they have butchered into place, brag about thier rustoleum paint job, tell us all about how thye "rebuilt" thier engine with no measurements and $500 worth of parts and machine work. Then they advertise the damn thing in the trader section for $12,000 :D It kinda like they forget all the chicken shit work they showed us they did to restore the car :D
It just gets my goat that someone would put something on the trader section for sale and people who have zero interest in it would comment with such total disrespect, a joke is one thing, an insult is something else. These are the people I put in their place very quickly. Jim, ask me about it offline, and I'll share a funny story with you about some cat who tried to disrespect at MG2008, boy did he get more than he bargained for, I kinda felt sorry for him when I got done, I think his two friends throughly enjoyed it though, they knew him too well :D
I find it almost impossible to believe people would leave this forum based on the reactions of others here.
You people are so – NICE, MILD & TAME by comparison with some other forums I belong to.
Paul ;-)
I don't know what went on over on the Trader as I don't go there much either. I will tell you that on the Vette Forum, it is expressly forbidden to comment on someones pricing. Someone can ask the moon if they want and no comments are to be made. Now if they come back and say "why isn't this selling? what is it worth?" then the commentary can begin. But they try to keep it strictly here is is for this price. Also you must list a price...no best offers or what will you give me.
I went over to the Buy,Sell, and Trade forum (nee MGE Trader), and had a quick search on QikMGB. I found at least two threads where QikMGB was looking to sell his B. Frankly, the very soft jibes he was receiving were nothing to get angry about. He was also given some decent advice about how to better portray the car on this forum. MORE PICTURES is some sage advice that he chose to ignore. Apparently he didn't have much of a sense of humor about the car or the money he put into it so that's likely the straw that broke the camel's back.
Oh well, who cares. As others have noted on this thread and the other one that started on this topic, this forum is one of the most tame and jovial in which I've participated. You're not going to please everyone all the time, so those who don't enjoy the party or the company are free to leave. Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out.

OUCH!!! That hurt Hap. :( I'm outa here.. :(
My observations have been that those who really are fed up and want to leave, do so quietly. Those who want to air their grievances and watch the reactions post a goodbye "grenade" message so they can watch what happens, hoping someone will take their side and/or beg them not to go.
Roger:
I googled where Eungella is, nice area it looks like a hour from Mackay. Now where my wife came from, that is isolated.
She was born in Mount Isa,Qld and spent the 60's growing up there. We did a vacation, and revisited it.

You know what, some of you are probably right, I should just have gotten on my horse and ridden off into the sunset without another word. But the fact is I do care about this forum and want it to be a good place to share ideas and parts etc. A lot of my anger was not just spurred by my recent ad but from responses over years.
Do I have thin skin, your DAMN right I do, when "somebodies" share thier opinions and sarcasm about your baby. The same with your kid. How would you react if somebody said he was a great kid but where did he get that big nose? My momma taught me if you havent got anything good to say, dont say nothin. Another version is better to be silent and have people think you a fool than open your mouth and prove it.
The sales advise I got was fine and I did apprechiate it. And as to my teira, i shoved it up another smart mouth pr#+ks ars years ago.
Hap, thanks...I hope a lot of these comments from this forum prove my point. Read em and see what its become.
Dont worry I am turning around and closing the door behind me, my ass is safe.

John, was this because some of the members put your car down in the trader section? I do remember your post and that was a bit harsh sorry your leaving.
James
Hap -
I don't think our cars (mine especially) are worthless, but I do object to people who speculate on them ie: Barrett-Jackson types who price my car out of my reach. For those of you who may not be aware, I picked a '71 MGB-GT in 1999 as a car that would be my daily driver for as long as I could keep it running & safe. I paid $1K for it in Moose Pass, Alaska and put over $35K (I stopped counting) into it and STILL saved money as I could FIX it myself (warped, I know, but fun) and insure it at PI-PD-UM rates with standard issue plates (Alaska, Oregon, North Carolina, and Kentucky).
So, I drive up to the pump for a fill and someone will say "That's a classic car." I tell them, "It's an old car that I can fix."
It is also an Cool old car!
So, I hope John left because he sold his car, not because insensitive boneheads made disparaging remarks about his sale price, turn signal lenses, and exhaust pipe.
So, yeah - I would take it personally, too.
Remember I got into it with JeffNC in '04 because I wouldn't take a million dollars for my car. He couldn't understand that. This is MY car, and it's just not for sale at any price. Now I have two.:)
John: Sorry to see your departure.
I think Hap covered most of the bases a few posts back. People need to be respectful of the possessions and talents of others.
I doubt if too many of the ire causing individuals who drag down the quality of this place from time to time would have the cherries to walk up to a perfect stranger at a car show and say some of the things which are said here. Likewise those who specialize in critiquing parts and car prices on the trader would likely have a rather terse reception if they tried that on for size in person. Too bad...the internet allows for another level of bullying.

Don't count on that Anthony. I had a perfect stranger, listening in on a conversation at a car show (PVGP), state that I would never get what I was asking for my B. The car wasn't even there and he had no idea whatsoever what it was. I turned my back and he went away. I wanted to say no one is talking to you ahole. So yes, it does happen in person....unfortunately.
BTW and just saying, I'm not weighting in on the OP leaving or staying or wether he should have just left...bla bla I just don't get critiqueing something you have absolutely no intention of buying. Just skip the ad and find something else to do.

No doubt it can happen. At least when you're up close and personal one can tersely return the rudeness if one so chooses. It takes a special type to be that rude face to face where it seems to be easier for some people to do when they can hide behind their keyboards.

You called it right Bob. He turned up on post 29 with more commentary. Well, it's sad to see somebody that upset on a great forum like this one. Like any big family, some of the siblings just won't get along all that well. Love em anyway I guess.
Wow, go away for a few months to finish my supercharged 78 and I come back to the holocaust. What the frig went down here boys? Was someone a dickhead to quote the melifluous Hap above? And if so why? It's the new millenium, "I'm OK-You're Not OK" is so yesterday. Whose the bad boy that offended Smith? Vem

Well said. I hear what people spend on engine rebuilds and either parts and machining are *way* more expensive here in Calgary or else corners are being cut.
What baffles me is that people have no problem spending hundreds of dollars on common parts for modern cars and then complain about MG prices. For instance, an ignition coil for my wife's Miata is over $300. Then, people want extensive advice on how to trouble shoot a $45 MGB coil (and complain about the quality of parts). For that price, just buy one and see if it fixes the problem! ;)
Simply because I can't take this kind of stuff too seriously, I'll remind you guys of a very socially incorrect statement I read here several years ago after a major dust-up between Young James and some bozo whose name escapes me now. Nevertheless, it sums this deal up pretty well...
Winning an argument on the internet is kind of like winning a medal at the Special Olympics. Sure, you won, but you are still retarded.
Have fun and try not to take this stuff too seriously.

Best solution I can think of to what lit John up..... and one way to avoid criticism on skill, repair quality and the like as least as it goes to value or sales price...... hang on........ here it comes..........this is Mensa quality stuff...... hold on...... brace yourself.
Never, ever, ever sell your B.
Brilliant, huh?
Mine sure as heck is not now and never will be perfect. But it's mine. Someday I'd like the engine rebuilt by somebody like Hap. Someday I'll either learn how to or have someone replace a lot of sheet metal. Someday.......
Till then, it's still mine. Not for sale and never gonna be. And I appreciate every comment I have every gotten on every post I have launched. Thanks folks.

Dave - surprised to hear that you have engine and sheet metal issues. You have one of the best looking interiors around. You must be doing it the smart way - slowly. Good on you.
Guys, that post is absolutely disgusting. You sit in your house and make fun of people who have intellectual disabilities!? I have a 10 year old son who happens to have been born with Down syndrome. I can guaranty you he is a better person than you. I have learned more "life lessons" from him in the past ten years than the previous forty.
Do not ever marginalize people who have disabilities of any type! They work harder than any of us to just try to maintain "normal" life. Got any idea how much it hurts to see my neighbors throw birthday parties for their kids and invite all he other neighborhood kids...except my son?
Do you know when I hear someone use the word retard in the manner you have it feels like someone just punched my son in the face?
What does get your fire "retardent" suit mean. ...that you have been told all of this before and choose to ignore the education? If yes you are a real piece of work. Go hide under a rock...that is where you belong.
Steve Simpson, father of Sky...who is the best son ever.
I edited to correct some typing errors.
Steve - None of us who have never had special needs people in our lives can ever truly empathize with you and your experiences, but we can admire you and those who have embraced the experience, and I really do admire you for your attitude and your approach to your life and for your relationship with your son.
The ones who make the hurtful jokes and comments are ignorant, not bad people just ignorant. They've never had the benefit of your experience or of any education/experience that teaches them to not be so hurtful. You know this better than I do.
We can just hope that we all become more understanding and accepting of those who may be different than us, not better or worse, just different.
Steve,
I would like to echo Bob's words....We have all made insensitive remarks at times and it is right to be reminded when we do.

Terry,I myself have no problem with MGB spares prices. As you say, compared to a modern car main dealer prices,I think most parts are at a
bargain price indeed.Where I would have a moan over in UK is the need for the tax office to cream off an additional %20 off everything on top.
Way too much in my opinion.
Typical of the OP to liken a rusty car to a kid.
No one sells a kid.
It is a POS lump of steel and plastic rusting away before your very eyes that you are unloading, because obviously you are finished with it.
Amazes me that people can get so attached to these POS.
Maybe someone took a video of you in the crib and you saw it decades later and heard , wow what an ugly baby.

Thanks Bob - slowly and arguably backwards!
"Put brain in gear before opening mouth" That's a quote I heard many years ago, but, unfortunately, I haven't always followed it and am probably as guilty as anyone for "opening my mouth and removing all doubt". What I have tried to do, is put myself in the other persons shoes before I diss them....hasn't always worked, but more times than not, has.
I think we all need to take a step back and consider that the other person's plight may be of a tough nature. No one knows what other people are going through. Case in point, Steve Simpson. I, for one, did not know about Steve's son, didn't even know he had one, let alone one stricken with that ailment, and I both feel sorry and admire hime for that.
And, with all due respect, everyone needs to lighten up, as most folks here do not known about your own personal plight. Please do not take things people say in passing as a personal attack on you or immediate family members. I'm sure they're not meant that way.
And Steve, I wish you and your son all the best, and hope you both can find some measure of happiness.
And you're right, Dakine, it has been a long "Good Bye"!!
Just so everyone knows, I don't get mad too often, and my post here was not about being mad, I was not, at the same time we had a thread going on down at the Motorsports section, joking around and having good laugh, I just speak my mind, thats all. I do think that the classified ads, should be about sellers and buyers and not much else, there's a couple of the same ole cats down there that like to add comments to the classified ads that have nothing to do with it's nature is, and those guys have no interest in buying said items, and those guys are dipshits IMHO, that sorta shows a lack of having a life to me. I think if you're not going to buy it, who cares what you think about it, let the buyers and seller do their thing and stay the hell out of it.
That crap going is on right ow down there with Jays new VTO wheels he wants to sell, one person suggesting he send them back for a refund, can you send a head gasket you mounted on engine to Moss if nothing is wrong with it, I don't so. Well guess what, you can't send wheels back you mounted on tires and put wheel weights on either that nothing is wrong with, it is a classic example of what I'm talking about people meddling in the classified ads that have no direct interest in the ad, I think it should be something Skye dings you for, not like he's get more time to baby sit us around here than he already spends, but it's a classified section people, not a add your freaking comment section, show some respect!
My take on the unfortunate analogy used earlier:
Arguing on the internet is like arguing in preschool - you may think you've won but so does the other kid, the rest of the kids don't give a shit they just stand around yelling "Fight, Fight, Fight"
AND you're still only four!
Chris
I was raised to be respectful, open doors for ladies, say yes mam, yes sir, thank you and so on, just simple courtesys that I was taught as child by my parents that make life in general better, and still try to live by those ideas today. With that being said, I see lot of less of that today, even folks trying to be disrepectful to strangers, especially on the internet, where everyone can be a bad ass, smart mouth from safety of their home, you think it's bad here, online poker rooms are horrrible, you just know the dweeb that curses you on a online poker room does so because in real life, he's big time wimp, and thats the only place he can smack talk and get away with it. For me to go off on someone, normally is for reasons I beleive someone is being disrespectful, and trust me I deal with alot more swiftly in real life than I do on the internet. We don't go to movies at theater anymore, because there always some poorly rasied young person there talking thru the movie or even worse talking on thier "dumb" phone, so to avoid me breaking it off in someone's ass, I just don't go to the theater anymore.
Just last week, I getting my Rotuxin mantainence infusion for my remissioned lymphomia, at the hospital, the room is full of folks battling cancer, most of them winning, some taking some very mean chemo, thank goodness not what I having to do, some smart ass nurse walks into the infusion room with a portable xray machine, I'm up and rolling my IV cart to the bathroom to take a wizz, she annouces to me, "You going to have to get out of my way, I have business to take care of here and you are in the way". I will not bother you all with exactly what came out of my mouth next, but it included a few curse words, and very firm reminder to what the hell room she just walked into and what the folks in here were dealing with and she could take smart fat ass self back out the infusion room the same way she came into it and she might want to think twice about ever smack talking to me or anyone in the infusion room again and take notes so she remembered what I'd said in case she ever forgot, the folks in the infusion room cheered me. There was no reason for that woman's disrespect, especially in that room with what those people are having to deal with, oh yeah that woman deserved everything I said to her, no reason for that type of behavior in our society, and everytime I see and it happen to me or around me, trust me I'll deal with it, and straighten folks out right quick like. Maybe their weak parents did not teach them manners and respect, but I have zero issues with doing it for them.
Easy there Hap. You're starting to brew up just a little. Remember that even when someone slights you, discretion is the better... The nurse had an indelicate moment. No need to escalate the situation.
Just so you know...I've learnt a number of anger management lessons since joining this board a few years back.
Whose gonna take on Hap in the live chat room.best of three insults, sorry I meant rounds.

HAH....I marched outa here a couple of years back in a really stupid fashion. After a few months to cool off, I came back. Learned a bit about myself, the internet and people in general as a result of that. I still have some relapses, but hopfully catch myself before its too late. Its faster to just click out and go on with your life than to type a response and then click out. Better for everyone.......
Wow, I missed a lot.
Hap,you're right. There is a complete lack of respect for people today. I would also add that the typed word can be interpreted in ways the person typing never intended. I see this happen a lot and I've done it or experienced it myself.
This doesn't excuse the comments in the "buy, sell, trade" section or those made in this thread. It's pretty sad really. This thread is not what I would have expected but at the same time I'm not surprised. I don't know what the OP said as it's been edited away but I'm sorry that he is offended. I'm also really sorry to see people bashing the crap out of others on here but that occurs on every forum I've ever visited. Unfortunately, it mirrors the world around us.
As for the comments on things for sale, I saw some of those and felt it was pretty rude too. My father has been attending events and building cars for as long as I can remember. I have tagged along and heard the same rude comments at events. I think that a lot of it is jealousy but who knows. I also don't think that we should be allowed to comment on the value of any item that is for sale.
Lastly, I think MG's are undervalued by most. They're a nice classic car and parts are reasonable. That doesn't mean it's worth "nothing" as some alluded to earlier. It takes a lot of time along with money to keep them running right and that's worth a lot more than many want to admit.
And I left one MG forum for another because of the Cosmic BS that went on there with flaming and these sorts of fights. I too recall the dust up that Harry mentions and the rather nastier turn it took.
There is no need for that, but I am not going to preach at anyone either because the sheer hammering of my own spirit by things done here as well as in my own private life have turned me into one of THEM as often as not. No excuse, and not proud of it.
It is not a pretty thing to realize that those who were once your friends whom you've known for years or over a decade, who did generous things for you because they believed you were someone they could identify with, discovered that the right set of circumstances could destroy that bond and make you both walk wide circles around each other.
I am saddened by that, sometimes to the point to also say, "chuck it all" and be gone. But, I don't think that really resolves or improves anything or anyone, especially myself. Perhaps what is missing is not only respect, but a touch of humility as well.
Boy, there is a little heat around here sometimes, but nothing that would want me to leave.
I face an uphill battle in this hobby, after all, I am not even as old as the last MGB LE ever produced. So, it will take some time to penetrate the Old Guard and become a full member.
Yet, I still find it to be a fairly welcoming place, and despite the back and forth banter about Webers and SU's and CB vs RB, there is always some morsels of valuable information to be learned.
Selling an MG here is about like trying to sell a Cuban a good hand rolled cigar...Better have it right!
Just when you think your out, they pull you back in again.
Look, I saw that my comments were beginning to get a firestorm brewing. I tried to quell it by taking down the original posting but that didnt work. I wiped my data out but the one thing I couldnt was my email link. So post after post after post have been dumping onto my mail. At first I just dumped them but like passing a car wreck, I just had to look. What I saw just confirmed my original comments. Seems like 75% of the forum were great and at least could see a bit of my point. 15% didnt really see it my way but thats OK Then 10% were just plain nasty and some I wondered why they were even in the forum at all if they felt so negatively about MG's.
It seems that as I age and now am what one would describe as a senior, I dont tolerate yabows as well as I used to in real life and here in the forum. So, guess Im in for a rough ride. But I dont care.
At some point, somebodys got to take point, catch the fire and man up, if anything that needs doing g gets done. A lot of us see from this post that weve got some work to do. Be positive, helpful, supportive and sensative. To the yabows, be prepared to get as you give.
Hope this indeed ends the longest Good Bye
I'm a relatively new B owner and forum member. I'm also "of a certain age" as are most members here as far as I can tell.
I always thought that one of the benefits of age, if one is lucky, is the wisdom to understand that one's own opinion about anything is just another voice in the chorus. Humility in the service of community.
This group is nothing if not opinionated about anything and everything. I learn something new about cars here everyday, but a lot also about people.
If I could summarize the good aspects of this thread it would be, If I ask your opinion, let me know what you think in a respectful manner, but otherwise confine your opinions to people who ask for them.
Sounds simple, doesn't it? HA!
Looks like we are just warming up here.now we have that nasty thing ageism creeping into it.I find I get this more and more as I get older and don't find it very nice,I do not consider myself some sort of an elder statesman or something,I am just me and don't care how old folks are So for a change, could someone of any age ask a question about how to fix a MGB and we will try and answer it.(Age undisclosed)
I bet if I said good bye, it would never go 4 pages.

Ha ha Jim, same here, I would get a couple of good riddances and that would be the end of it .
I remember when I started my apprenticeship at 15 on 11 bucks a week in a very large printing shop....so many ole codgers always retiring and nearly every week, some dude would come around for 20 cents for a sendoff present for these old codgers I did not know or even have ever seen in the shop.
Some weeks there were multiple ole codgers retiring and all these 20 cent's were taking their toll.
I was only earning 2 bucks 20 cents a DAY.
I bucked up after a few months and the do gooders who took the money, said when I leave they would take up a collection for me.
Guess what?
I left after 15 months, reckon I parted with about 2 whole weeks pay for these ole codgers, and I DID NOT EVEN GET A CENT OR EVEN A GOODBYE.
Spose that made me a bit cynical from an early age.
Well OP, your departure has caused a number of forumites to look inward. Not a bad legacy you've left us here. And to think it's your last post.
You've not really burnt any bridges yet so...you know where to find us.
I bet if I said good bye, it would never go 4 pages.

Well it would have until you went and bought that damn Corvette.............
I think I'll drive my near worthless in California, and certainly worth no more than stock AQUA roadster off into the sunset now....:I3:

Nah, I'd help it go 6-8 pages for you, I'm sure I could stir the pot into that many pages. I'd make sure you had a fine send off sir :D
Simply put, some folks' mothers never bother to teach them good manners.
Pooch....your in Ozland and thats what they do over there....apart from eat their young)....am I right?
Hap,you hit the nail on the head with your comments.I agree 100%, some of the replies to members posts are downright rude and inconsiderate, not all MG owners are experts some will never be,they just like the cars.I can see how people get fed up and go elseware when all they get to an innocent question are demeaning comments which are an insult to their intelligence.
Just my 2cents worth
John

And for cheap. ;)
Thanks Hap, At least I now know I can always be a legend in my own mind. :D
Yeah Lloyd, I'm sure my reputation is crap after all that posting of how wonderful Vettes are. 8-) My Triumph buddes were over about a month ago. They mostly just stared at it with a look of disbelief.
