$35 engine stand from Harbor Freight. Sure is easier to work on the transmission on the stand than on the workbench. It's nice to be able to rotate it, get to the other side without reaching over it, etc. Easy to store too, since only one bolt holds the horizontal strut to the upright.
not as easy to move as that baby in your arms, though<G>
and not quite as noisy--at times.<G>
or as messy. at times.
nor as proudful...at times.

I have a non dissmantlable engine stand getting in my way right now.. and my overdrive transmission taking up my workbench space. Geeze.. what shall I do?
