Well maybe this should be in the trader area...
The weekend special from The Roadster Factory has the complete MGB dash units for 160.00 with 7.00 shipping! Thats 100.00 less then M***. Sale ends Tuesday morning.
No I don't work for them. And I still like M***. I just thought this was a great deal I'd share with all.

Do you mean complete dash pad or mounted already on the dash metal backing?
Thanks for the heads up--I just ordered one for my '69 GT restoration. I did one of these dash pad replacements on my '72 and it looks great. Be careful when stripping off your old pad from the steel backer. There are some foam elements adhered to the steel that you need to retain. At least that is the case for the '72 style fascia.
How good are these reproduction dashes? I never cared before because I've got a NOS dashpad for my '72 convertible. Now that I'm getting a '74 GT that has a dash cover on it, I'm considering one of these repro dashpads for it.

Hi Shawn,
I can tell you I was very pleased with the product I received. It was not difficult to put on and the vinyl quality and pattern seem to match the original very well. Here's a couple of shots from when I did the job:

Shawn,
I have had one which looks exactly like Rick's on my GT since 1988. No cracks, no problems. However, altho I thought it was vinyl, my neighbor at the time, a chemist, took a piece of the scrap left over, did some quick chemical tests in his garage and came back telling me that it was not vinyl, but ABS. I only have his determination to go by, but if true, it is little wonder that it has stood up so well on a daily driver/commuter car. ABS will likely last many times longer than vinyl.
For the folks that ordered this from the Roadster Factory, has anybody heard from TRF regarding their order? It seems strange to me it has not shown up yet even though I got a confirmation immediately upon placing the order. There was no indication that it was on backorder, so I expected to see it in about a week. It has now been almost two weeks.
Nothing yet here either.
One thing is that as described in the e-mail, orders are not processed until the following Tuesday after the weekend promotion.
They sound like a mom and pop kind of business. For the price, I can wait another week.
