The brackets to which the control cables attach are stamped with 3/333 and 3/353. Anyone know what these numbers mean? Also, the angles of the cable attachment brackets are somewhat different. I assume this has to do with optimum control cable routing, but I am not sure. Any help is appreciated.

They are part numbers. 3/333 is the upper control on the dash and controls temperature. 3/352 is the lower control and controls air distribution. The angles are different for cable routing and position on the dash. The switches also have different position detents.

Thanks very much. I just need to figure out how to attach the spring and pin that holds the knob on one of the controls.
