This has been parked here at work for a week. It is a big part for a liquid nitrogen plant that we are having built. Not sure which part this is though.
I would say the rig is about 70' long, and I bet that was fun to drive down here!

Man! A 46 wheeler. How do those rigs even get into a place to fuel up? Maybe someone brings it to them like farmers take it to their equipment.
That swivel rear end must be linked to the steering otherwise it would spin around like a caster on a three legged chair.
COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love big rigs like that!!
You should all try and make a ATHS show to see some awesome rigs. I would love to have a class "d" myself but have nowhere to put and no time right now. here is the website.

I just wonder how much it is costing somebody to just let that rig sit here for over a week! I suspect that it will sit at least another week as they aren't ready to install that piece. I don't think they can just sit it down someplace.
There will be a 2nd one brought in later, that will look just like this one. Will be interesting to see if it will be the same rig or another one. Don't know where they shipped from, but I'm gonna ask around!
we got a very large transformer at work on a rig like that. was something to see them take it apart to unload it. The transformer came from Fla and as I remember it was a problem getting all the permits necessary to get it here over the roads. They had to completely drive around a couple of states.
Man, you'd have to plan your route carefully with that rig. I'm sure it has a turn radius that won't quit!
There is a plastics plant in Chico I used to work for that ordered a "1000 ton Van Dorn" injection molding machine. Brought out from back east on a similer rig. Well the driver took a wrong turn and started heading up the Feather River Canyon. He tried to turrn around and into the river it went.
