.... play do the rest of you have in your brake and clutch pedals? I am replacing both MS and currently have the pedal box on the bench. I noticed that the pedals seem to have quite a bit (3/8"?) of side to side play in them. The long pass-thru bolt is new and the pedals have had new bushings pressed in. I am tempted to turn a new set of 'rollers' to replace the current ones. Just wondered what everone else is experiencing.

Mine seem to have a lot of side to side play. It doesn't seem to matter though.
Mine are very loose side-to-side but I haven't had the pedal box apart yet. Winter project.
When I first got my GT it had huge side to side play. I took off the pedal box to see the nut holding the pivot bolt holding on by 3 threads. Sure made me feel more secure to get some new hardware in there. I'll take a look and report back.
if i was you, and i had the ability, i would. when you put it all toghter, you will be happier that they are solid.
Are we talking straight side to side play from the pedals sliding on the pivot shaft or are we talking about pivotal side play where the pedal moves in an arc, pivoting on the axle? There should ne no side to side play if the pedals are shimmed on their shaft. Any pivotal play has to come from a worn or missing bushing within the pedal itself. There should none of this, either. Both are easy fixes, either by adding washers on the shaft or by replacing the pivot bushing in the pedal
In my case it appears that the pivot bolt is (which is virtually new) is a bit too small, and that situation is allowing the small 'roller' (that fits inside the pedal bushing very closely) have too much axial play. That is, if looking at the pedals face on, they pendulum in a side to side motion. I was just wondering what others are/have experienced and am more than likely going to make up some new rollers to fit the bolt more snugly. It just seemed that there is a lot of excessive movement for my tastes. Thanks for everyones comments, they have been helpful as usual.
To take up the side to side play, just add a washer in the axle bolt as needed. Just be carefull that after you're done, that the brake pedal still lines up with the brake switch on the cover To take up the play between the shaft and the bush you likely need to buy or make another bush
