Ya Mac. And the Buick Rendezvous was a version of the Pontiac Aztek too. :)

"First Place in the Healey Open Class"!

I wonder what else was in that Class? And how many cars? 1? 2?

Jensen Interceptors are just plain cool cars. I'd love one.

There was a Jensen Healey at a local hotrod/musclecar show today. They are neat cars. A few years ago at a Fall Autofair, I saw a guy walking around with a set of Jensen Healey wheels. He had just bought all 4 for $20 because his son wanted to put the dryrotted tires on his 80s Chevy something or other. I asked him about the wheels and he said he was just going to throw them away!!! He wouldn't sell them either. Shame.

Nice engine. :) Rather have a Volvo P1800 though.

Interceptors - Cool car and one of the best names ever.

I'd love to have it. Don't think I want that engine, though. A Chev V6 maybe? The rep I remember when they came out was that they were very bad in fit and finish and dependability. Ah, yes, I'd rather have a P1800, too

The yellow one is still available up here Gerry. I could probably grab it for you for two grand CDN and drag it to my place for safe keeping. :)

Wondered the same thing....it's not that clean at all!

It looks like someone combined my B and a DeLorean...I'd take it if it were given to me.

I agree with ugly.. just not proportioned right.. I like the "B" map light as a dome light...

Paul, I appreciate the offer but I'll have to pass. I have way too much on my late now as it is. I'm trying to divest myself of some of my projects as we speak. I was told just the other day at work that I have to design and price a new teaching facility by September. That's going to be a major job for me and I am not sure that I am up to it. Probably will eat up all my waking hours for the next few months. Once again, my BGT restoration takes back seat, dammit!

I like Jensey Healeys, though I agree the proportions are a little odd. But, so what? Just makes it a distinctive car, in my opinion. Only 500 imported to the U.S. so you won't be passing another one on the road for years, probably. I think they're neat cars, but at $15K I'd expect near perfection. Don't like the silver grey color much.
