Tonight I installed the pedals and I can actually see the light at the end of my MG endeavor approaching. All the systems are going in one by one and my target date to get this thing running is Christmas. This weekend I am going to lay down my wiring harness and position it for eventual installation. Here are some pics:

Looks like you are very close Terry, and doing an excellent job too !

Is that a pressure gauge at the front carb?

That looks Awesome Terry.....I hate to say it but I think you have your oil cooler lines on reversed as in the 90 degree ends should be on the cooler.

Good call on the oil lines...swap them end for end and the lines will lay out better.

Great job on the sound deadening.

One thought here: when I did mine I also ran it close into the corners like where the floor meets the sides. When it came time to fit the interior panels they were too tight. The small space taken up by the sound mat, 1/8 inch for each layer, amounted to 1/4 +- inch because I lapped some of the seams and also put the sound mat on the inside bottom of the shelf.

The side panels by the driver and passenger feet and on the cabin sides behind the seats were bowing out and the pre drilled hole did not line up. I had to cut out some of the product --a 1/4 inch "slot"-- to allow the panels to lay like they were supposed to and the holes would line up. In a few places I was able to flatten the sound mat down enough by tapping it firmly with a block of wood and hammer.

Sorry for the LONG winded comment...Since all our cars seem to vary a bit you might not even have a problem...I spent a couple hours "fitting" as I said.

Outstanding workmanship, and I really like that color. Roadster or GT?

Yes, it came with the assembly. I can remove it if it will cause any issues but I thought it looked kinda cool!

Luckily I won't be doing the interior. I have a very good interior guy that did my TR6, and he dealt with the fitting the panels on top of the dynomat. That interior work is skilled labor that is beyond my skill. Once I get it running I am going to put a beach chair inside it and drive it over with no front windshield and he is going to install the windshield, carpet and interior panels and seats.

67 GT. I used second skin. They are in Arizona and the stuff is great.

Can I drop my car off so it's next?

What did you use for the soundproofing/heat stuff (dynamat?) What did it end up costing you for the material.

I used secondskin.com I ended up getting 2 orders and then a third. I way underestimated the amount of material I needed and it cost me around 500 dollars or so total. I doubled up on where your feet go and I also did the inside of the doors and the inside of the gearbox tunnel. It's over kill but I had the whole car apart anyway.
