The guy I take the B to for oil changes and lookovers has told me the last couple times the the threads on the oil filter adapter ( stock '71 HC engine) are starting to get a little long in the tooth and he has to be very carful when he screws the filter on. I will be puting the car into storage in two weeks and would like to change this out with the last oil change of the year.
Does anyone have a good one sitting around they would like to sell me? If not I will look for a new one at Obsolete in a couple weeks, but that will be after I put the car away.
PM me please with price inc. shipping to Ontario.

Thanks

Paul

I believe Moss carries them so they should be available elsewhere as well.

Thanks David. One says from a '72 to an '80 and the other says from a '74. Would there be a difference with my '71 engine?

And Paul, I will get back to you. Thanks.

Paul, I have the same GK engine as you, and I have a '74 engine in the corner. Both have the same oil filter adapter.

I would not recommend VB. The one I received was so poor quality the filter would not screw on. Expected much more for $189!

Thanks Jeff.
Ya.. the one on my '79 engine is exactly the same as the one on the '71 I believe. Both have the filter on top.
