I think the PO of my 73 may have installed a 74 indicator stalk.
Are they the same wiring?
Indicators do not work at the moment....four way flashers do not work.
One headlight works ( high beam also ), the "flash" does not work.

Hope this pic is close enough for you to tell. Stalk looks to be brand new

From the wiring diagram I have the '73-'74 North American cars look to be the same. I would focus on the Hazard switch wiring first. The power to your turn signals runs through the Hazard switch then on to the turn signals. Test for power at the hazard switch on the green wires. You'll have two, one comes in from the fuse box via a 4 way junction, and the other leads off to the turn signal flasher. You should have power coming from the fuse box. If you don't have power here, correct that first. If you do, but do not have power passing through to the turn signal flasher your switch is a problem. The hazard switch is actually easily serviceable. Take some care and pop it open. You'll see an H shaped copper contact plate and below that 6 copper contacts. All of these contacts are often covered in a layer of dirt and corrosion. Clean them off nice and bright add some dielectric grease if you like and reassemble the switch. This is often all it take to get the turn signal functioning. You can just buy a new hazard switch, but for a little effort you have the better OEM switch and save 30 or 40 bucks.

With all that said you really need to pick up a copy of the shop manual and a cheap test light. It will make you life MUCH easier and you will need it for more that just this job. PM me your email address if you like and I can send you a PDF of the service manual for your car.

You mileage may vary, but this worked for me.
