Howdy,

I'm in the middle of an interior re-do project and I'm trying to ID the panel fastners used by a PO in the photo below. They're basically a screw, a translucent white cup, and a colored cap (tan in this case). I'm missing some caps. Moss and VB are a no go. I've also googled them and have looked at so many panel fasteners, I'm dizzy.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,

Glen

Home Deport has those. Mostly for wood projects.

Peter's right. I used those all the time to cover screws back in the days when "Formica" cabinets were the big thing in kitchens. If you can't find them at Home Depot try any good cabinet hardware supplier.

Lowes has them also. In the nut and bolt isle where all the drawers full of stuff are.

Can someone tell me how we kept our cars running back in the day when there was no Lowes or Home Depot?

Interesting looking door panels, too.

We went to the local hardware store on Main Street in town.

Thanks everyone. I'll give Lowes, HD, and couple of local boat stores a try and report back.

Drew, the door panels were installed by a PO. I don't think they're a traditional Moss or VB kit. I don't know if they're someone else's kit or custom made. I can tell you that the carpet installation was completely bodged - everything (and I mean everything) was glued down except the piece over the battery hatch.

Cheers,

Glen

I found them at Home Depot. They're tan, but not as a yellow tan as the ones on there. They're also not as tall, so they're less obtrusive and won't be kicked as much (which is how I think the lower door panel pieces went missing). They were 62 cents per bag of three. I bought enough to do all of the interior. HD had black, white, gray, brown, and tan. Lowe's had them as well, but not tan.

Thanks every one.

Glen
