Hello,
I have a twin HS2 manifold that has 3 part numbers on it! I actually am hoping for it to be a mini manifold, (as in one that sits the carbs at a higher angle) as otherwise I may have clearance issues!
I have asked within the mini world, and no-one knows. If anyone can ID this manifold for me, I would be truly grateful!
Part numbers are as follows:
Across the Balance pipe: 12G242
Up the Vacuum take off, (or is it the throttle cable mounting) 12G594
And across a diagonal, undrilled moulding across the balance pipe: 12G352
Many thanks for any help.
Tom

2 sources say it's used with AUD69 SU carbs.
Oh yes, that's a good find. Seems it might be used interchangeably...
Are you hoping to run twin HS2s on a Mini then. Not a single HIF44?
Yeah that's it. On a 1275 I that I'm building. I want it niice and torquey low down so the twins should keep the gas speed up!
Be careful with A-series intake manifolds, the agnle are different form the inline to FWD applications, I know if you put a Mini intake on a Sprite, you can't close the hood, and the float bowl angles would be wrong, a inline manifold on a FWD would have the float bowl angles wrong as well, but probably not the clearence problem, well not atleast on the top side anyway.
