not a nice topic, but look up jessica's Law and hope it is a law in your state. Some states let pedophiles off with a severe talk and other do the right thing and put them away for 25 years and no probation.....

Today my crusade is Jessica's Law.....many have pass it, some are thinking and some do not want to be bothered.....pereverts killl and moltest kids put them away or if I had my way worse and 380's only cost 14 cents each.

Jerry,

I just don't comprehend how any state including the one I live in will not pass that law. Children do not ask to be born and certainly need our protection from the evils that exist in this world. I would vote for even stiffer punishment that may even include the use of M16s. Even hardened criminals hate the SOBs that commit these types of crimes against our young. I sure can't think of anything worse a human being can do to another.

Obviously very strong feelings for children,

Rob

I am with you 100% Jerry!!! With that said we had a case last year of an 87 year old man who's wife baby-sit for years being conviced as a pedophile. Apparently it had been going on for over 50 years and there were 68 counts against him. Only last year did a child being babysitted tell her Mother and then a chain reaction of those for over 50 years came forth.

His sentence: 5 years and was out within a month because of his health. He is now back in where there is medical treatment but will be release in Janurary after serving less than a year.

My feelings --I don't give a darn about his age or health. I think he should be hung by his private parts and let everyone of those who's life he destroyed at such a young age see him suffer.

It looks like Michigan does have Jessica's Law. There is a pedophile registry. In 2006 they enacted Jessica's law. Good, that's one thing this state has done right. The only thing they done right. The state government did and then did not shut down after midnight last night. At 4AM they decided that theyr could meet the budget by increasing the income tax and enacting a "service" tax. Florida tried to start a service tax but it got shot down. So you start a whole new type of tax; that will require a whole new state bureau to collect and process that tax. It isn't sales tax, so sales tax dept can't touch it. So now the new dept will have to be funded, with what? The money it collects? It's going to be a real mess, now lawyers, doctors, beauticians, chiropractors, dentists, will have to charge this new tax and add it to your bill.

Why I oughta...

I was at a seminar today and the subject of Megans law came up. did you know there are 3 levels of pedophiles and only the 3rd level - the most dangerous - are required to be placed on the web sites that publish their names.

I say put them ALL in prison with a sign that says "Child Molester". I guarantee they won't last very long!

I have no sympathy at all. There is never a circumstance that can make those types of actions okay. (BTW, I have a 5 year old so it's high on my radar at the moment)

Of course, I like Na's suggestion of hanging by private parts! :)
