Picking it up tomorrow around 6pm.
VIN Door plate = DEC 1973
Owner spun a knock off and parked it in 1992.
Tried to turn the motor by hand. Nope.
Owner's son painted the car twice since he owned it.
From what I could tell, the body is in real good shape.
There's a metal toggle switch mounted in the switch on
the console. Hoping it has an O/D under there.
All tires flat. So I can't get under it to look.
I don't have the time for a full restore, so I'm probably
going to part it out.
I'll post some pics as soon as I get it home and blow all
the leaves and acorns out of it. (Chipmunks, Mice, Etc.)
I sold 5 1960's era HotWheels on Ebay two weeks ago.
Made more money off of them, than what I paid for 63 B.
Good for me, but kinda sad that you can get more money for
a HotWheel than you can for a REAL car.

Build date of December '73 would make it a '74 (Model Year).

Congrats! The 73-74 models are among my favorite MGs, with the classic style grille, nice dash with fresh air vents and chrome bumpers. Please post some photos.

Cool!
I remember the first time I looked at mine, seeing an aftermarket switch in the dash and crossing my fingers as I peeked underneath...
Unfortunately for me it was just a replacement for a burned-up fan switch...
Oh well.
Hope you're luckier!!

If the body is in good shape, don't part it out. There are plenty of rusty MGs for that.
