So I heard through the grapevine, that it got sold. Any particulars, Paul? Now you should be able to afford that 'Vette, huh?

Well.. Yes Ron we done the deal yesterday. A very nice Woman and her Husband from the wrong side of the Lake with a very impressive collection of cars including a mint 1953 MGTD and a mint '67 Mustang. It was one of those, "I love it, I want it, shake hands" no dickering transaction. I'm happy, she's happy and will be happier in the spring when she picks it up from it's winter home. It was a beautiful day to show it as well.
And yes.. with that sale and the money I made on the other Corvette project, we have a good selection of C5's to choose from.
I tell ya though, after spending a few hours with the car on Friday and Saturday detailing it... It really is a shame to let her go, but.. Life goes on right Ron?

:)

Good for you Paul. I though about letting mine go also. Mentioned it around the club and everyone says it would be a great buy... but no takers. Some detail work needs done before I could "maybe" get my price. I won't give it away though unless I'm down to eating dog food.8-)

Happy Vette hunting! (:D (tu)

Right on Paul. Glad everything is working out well for you. See what happens when the nest gets empty, lol. Things really start to fall into place, right? Happy hunting for that next 'KLUTZ KLASSIK'.

Then they advertise the damn thing in the trader section for $12,000" !!!!
