I bought a K&N 56-1010 air filter with housing for my Weber 32/36 carb. The bottom plate that attaches to the carb did not fit. It would have to me modified by cutting out some metal and repositioning the holes for the attaching hardware. I though this can't be right. Has anyone else had this experience? Do you have to modify it to work, or did I not get the correct part?
