I still like the look of the steel wheels. Unfortunately, the widest they came on the US B's was 4" and I'd like something a little wider.
Dick Moritz had a set of steelies that were 5.5" by 15" for sale on the trader, but they went fast. He said they came off a Triumph and that many models had these wheels.
Anyone know of an LBC wrecking yard in the northwest that I might be able to snag a set for cheap in a month or two?
Thanks -

Another option is to get a set of 4" steel wheels and have the rims replaced with something wider. Stockton Wheel can do this for you.
Hi Bob,
Brian MacMillan mentioned a place near Chehalis awhile back. Seen the 2nd post in this chain: http://www.mgexperience.net/phorum/read.php?42,814023,814023#msg-814023
Don't think I've seen Brian post much lately.
Hope this helps.
Paul
Hi Bob,
Have you tried these guys?
http://www.foreignpartspositively.com/
They are on your coast - Vancouver, WA.
(380) 882 - 3596
I was talking to them a couple years about about sourcing a wing for my GT. Keith seemed to indicate they had a fair number of old cars around.
Good luck!
Tim
Keith Ansell is a great guy to do business with. It won't be cheap though. If the big foreign yard in Seattle is still around they might be one to check. There was also a classic place north of Seattle in a town that began with an E I think.
Chris are you thinking of that place just across the west seattle bridge?

Not really a yard but some city lots and containers stacked full of parts.
Can't think of the place that starts w/ an "E."
It was huge, probably N Seattle. One office and a few acres were domestic and another office on the other side of the gully was foreign.
The E town must be Everett (I had to look at a map), but this was 30-40 years ago.
Chris - You are thinking of Aurora Auto Wrecking. I believe they are still there, but no longer carry MG parts - they closed out all MG stuff several years ago - unfortunately, I used to get a lot of stuff from them.
Cheers,

Dave is correct. Aurora moved onto other manufacturers --Mercedes I think. Anyway I know that Brooklands in Tacoma bought the last two MG parts that Aurora had for resale, two Midget RB skins that were NOS
