Qauiffe do one but I think exclusively through MG Motorsport, 3.07:1 or 3.307:1 crown and pinion was around the 750 pounds, have a search on the Quaiffe site,
otherwise no experience per se, regards Bill

Quaiffe for MG are not exclusive to MG Motorsport. If you have interest I can arrange carriage from US or UK.

Hi Raymond, wondered what you were doing, been couple years since we spoke. Good to see you still working on C. I solved my diff problem with a cut down Commadore VL V8 LSD salisbury. It worked out perfectly.it gave me everything, disc brakes, wheel stud patten for steel wheels, perfect. Because i am running Commadore engine and auto it marries up nicely, and makes engineer is happy. Hope speak again soon Regards Barry.

I'm not following your question. If you indeed want a limited slip diff, Quaife are the only manufacturers I know selling new. The default idea is to build a Detroit locker...that is what was done in the day.

Hi Robert, thanks for diff info. I was just saying Hi to Raymond, and telling him how i fixed my LSD problem. I spoke with Raymond couple years ago, didn't know what happened to him, now i know, he still lives.

Hello Barry,
How are you?
And thanks Robert!
I am rolling along well on the C now and have most of the body work completed.
Painted the underneath and the interior so now the car can come off the rotisserie and go on to a trolley, so now I am restoring the suspension. I wanted to keep the knock-ons for the car. I had heard of Torana banjo lsd centres being used?
Does that ring a bell Barry? Happens I have a complete V8 setup from a Brock or two that I owned but the centres dont quite fit and I did want to keep the "classic" look.
What is involved in the Detroit locker, Robert??
I posted a couple of pictures of the engine on my front pag/member page..
Chat soon Barry.
Cheers to all

Hi Raymond,

As well as the Quaife, there's a 'local' guy in NSW who makes a dual cone clutch LSD. His name is Adrian - email nftrading (at) pacific.net.au

Regards,
Mark

Hi Raymond, yes we used Tarana LSD carrages in the B's only in banjo salisburys. I have one in my little race car. I have two others set up with different ratios for different race tracks, easy to change that way. The Tarana carrage is so close to BMC, not much machining, redrill bolt holes for for crown wheel, and a couple of little casting lug removed, job dune. Mate, when i was going through what you are trying to find out, I looked at HQ and onward diff centres, to see could do same but by time I had it machined, axles dune, this and that! I decided to mortgage the house and go MGC. LSD. Since then i have turned full circle, decided to cut down and machine Commador diff as i said yesterday, running Gen3 and auto. and diff complete package, Mate if i was you and want to make life easer go MGC LSD. Then you have simple set up. bit the bullet Mate! talk again Barry.

Thanks all,
I am not being stingy and am prepared to spend the dollars, but I do want to know whats out there before comimitting to any thing. Being a relatively common rear end should open up a few options I would have thought.
Thanks all!!
