Any tricks to staving off the flooded boot? Water comes in the holes where the trunk emblem is attached. All I have on the back side (of the lid) are push on holders.

Some will say dobbed silicone inside .
Use neutral cure. not acetic cure.

Take the emblem off. Put a small glob of caulking into each hole. Then put the emblem back on. The emblem should be bedded in the caulking and eliminate the leak.
