Length of dipstick for a 1275?

Okay before I go any further with my project, I need to find out if my dipstick is broken or if I need to get a new one. It appears to me that it has been broken off but I can't tell for sure.
I went to VB and Moss' websites and they do not offer them for sale. They have them in their exploded drawings but Moss says, "NA" - and Victoria British shows the picture of it but makes no reference to it.
If I can get measurements for a dipstick, I could weld a piece to the bottom of mine where it is broken off and make marks on it for the proper oil levels.

Might even have an extra one in the parts bins....

ok here's a photo of the dipstick from a '68 1275.... should answer the question..
and I'm still looking for my spare..

Thanks for the photo and measurement Mike. BryanM362 is sending one out and should be in the mail as I type this. From the photo that you supplied, it looks like mine is broken off at the point where it narrows down into the thin looking strip of metal.
