Hey guys,

I rarely post about another B for sale - but this one seems too good to be worth it? What do you all think? 16K?

Is that color "original" for a 67? And closer examination of the bay brings out less than "perfect" paint in the bay from my perspective...

...see above -- my error!

Yo right man...ha! When get through this winter with my projects, my 79 will be everything I hope for. OD, refreshed suspension - new leafs, coils, Poly bushings and a new Tie-rod boot - she'll be the best B for me and that is all that matters.

Ya know I like the older B's, but they're all nice in my opinion. Any British car is nice if, it is maintained well, and in contrast - a car that isn't is a pile.

That 67 B is overpriced, simple.

I think its worth it for sure! Its a beautiful car - looks like its in great condition, it has about 16K worth of parts and labor. I say its spot on.

Its condition seems to be a bit better than an average driver, but it appears to me to be far from "really nice".

You'd pay that over here. Maybe. I used to have a '67. The dash looks worn and the overdrive switch looks odd. However you would not pay within 30% of that in the land of the auto-mobile.

Oh, I thought they were selling their "Union" Local 67. Don't know of anyone around Michigan that would want to buy a Union Local any number.:drinking:

I used to live just up the hill from them on Holgate, and my stepson and I stopped and looked at cars occasionally.

Something doesn't look right with the nose on the hood. It looks like there might be filler in the raised area behind the badge, and it's shaped wrong.

$16K??? Hmmm, not so sure about that. That is a pretty hopeful price. Nice enough car, but I have a feeling that someone equates wear with patina, minimal work done with originality, and pre-smog with money.

I don't know ... seems about right to me. Probably a bit padded (for negotiating room), but not completely out of line. I'm probably missing something, but I don't remember seeing a '67 in "as good" of condition selling for a lot less? A car (or anything for that matter) is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it at that moment. I would think there are plenty of people willing to spend about 15K for this car.

Rod: I agree, I thought there was something strange about the way the front end looked. The bonnet seems too high up from the end of the grill. I'd say it's worth about (for a buyer) from a car lot - about $5000 to 6K.
