Lonely Salesman knows his geography

There was this company rep looking for some action in the bar of the hotel where he was staying the night.

There were two lovely ladies at the other end of the bar and he asked the barkeep if he could introduce him the them.

The bar tender told him, "You don't want to waste your time on them, you won't get anywhere there."

"Don't be so sure about that, I usually do pretty good.", was the reply.

"well, you won't make it with either of them, they're lesbians.", came the retort.

"Hey guy, thanks for the tip. That's all I need to get things started." quipped the salesman as he gathered up his drink and slipped off his stool.

He went down to the other end, sidled up to the women and in his smoothest most seductive manner crooned, "Good evening ladies. I, uh,
understand you're from Portugal."
