An automotive paint supply store maybe able to match the paint.
I just went through this and the PPG store had the correct codes for my 78 roadster. They do not have them in their books so you need to get the codes from the MG web sites to cross reference from the original but they have the paint colors and can make it. If it is non original then I guess you have to get as close as you can with their chips. I believe they are in both Dupont and PPG.

this is where you want to go. it has the color names and codes and what years they were used. as long as you color is original.

Paintscatch.com is what I used. They have original colors in different size containers that you can buy.
Using the code is fine for new paint, but what Kimberly suggested would take into consideration any fading from time. Paint shops have a "gun" that they use to get a digital reading for actual color. That is then fed into a computer that spits out a formula.
