I know what Lucas smoke is now. I got a barrel full while chasing a turnsignal problem. I removed the console to find the fuse holder and the fuse was blown. I somehow touched the brown wire going to hazard flasher to ground. Whew it stinks. I pulled it away fast so it could have been worse. DA present owner. Spent rest of day removing that wire from harness. I goes back to junction behind the dash pocket and that all the damage it did. No other wires were damaged thank goodness.

Remember Gil.... once you let the "smoke" out of a wire??? it's a major pain in the #$% to get it back in...lol
Glad to hear you only fried one wire tho... just remember...you're not the first.. nor the last to opps like that.... have another cold one..and don't sweat it...
