STALLED PROJECT! 1958 MGA. STARTED TO CONVERT TO GM 2.8 V-6. DID NOT CUT ORIG. ENGINE MOUNTS!. CAR WAS LAST RUNNING 1 YEAR AGO. IT HAS DECENT OLD ENGLISH WHITE PAINT. INNER AND OUTER ROCKERS WERE REPLACED,ENTIRE SILLS AND PILLERS REPLACED WITH MOSS PARTS. WIRE WHEELS (OLD TIRES), NEW BRAKES INCLUDING LINES. MOTOLITA WOOD STEERING WHEEL. NEW GRILL,NEW BUMPERS, MOSS LEATHER SEAT KITS, NEW DOOR PANELS,NEW TONNEAU, NEW NEVER INSTALLED ROBBINS BLACK CANVAS TOP. I WILL INCLUDE AN EARLY MGB 5 MAIN ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION AS WELL AS A 15OO TRANSMISSION AND IF YOU WANT IT A GOOD ALL SYNCHRO MBG TRANSMISSION, HAVE 1500 AND MGB DRIVE SHAFTS, HEATER, ECT. THE 2.8 COMES WITH A CAMARO T-5 5 SPEED, FIERO MANIFOLDS AND HAS NEW ROD BEARINGS AND GASKETS INSTALLED--YOU COULD SELL IT TO THE MGB GUYS. I DID TRIM A LITTLE SHEET METAL OFF THE LOWER FIREWALL, AN EASY FIX. CAR IS LOCATED JUST EAST OF COLUMBUS OHIO. ASKING $6500.00 AGAIN - BODY IS GREAT, THIS WOULD BE AN EASY FIX. and why has the project stalled?
There are alot of extra goodies available but do you have the original engine?
Is it driveable or needs to be trailered/shipped?

SORRY TO CONFUSE. THE 2.8 IS INSTALLED BUT NOT HOOKED UP. THAT IS ELECTRIC/GAS/EXHAUST NOT CONNECTED. CAR COULD BE TOWED BUT NOT DRIVEN. PROJECT IS STALLED BECAUSE I AM WORKING A LOT AND DON'T HAVE TIME TO COMPLETE IT. I DO HAVE A TD, A "B" AND A MIDGET SO LOOSING ONE WON'T KILL ME. THANKS MARK

looks like a nice car, i have an mga with a 2.8 v6 in it and i love it, it is not a speed burner but will get up and go when i really want and it has enough power to run the ac and cruise easily at 75 or 80 all day long, that is a really good price and someone will be getting a great deal. good luck with your sale

Most likely going back to original. Picked up a 65 tub about two months ago and will probably put the 2.8 in that one.

I am looking forward to getting it back on the road. I won't be driving by spring but will be driving it this summer - that's for sure.
