Well, I started my front end rebuild on my 57 mga roadster and it turned out my right hand spring was broken near the bottom of the coil. Before I make an order to moss for a pair of early mgb springs (the mga ones are N/A) I thought I would check here with your guys to see if anyone has one mga spring sitting around in their garage.
It measures 8-15/16" tall and 3-7/8" diameter.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Liam

It's always a good idea to replace springs in pairs, otherwise you risk ending up with different spring rates in each corner and a car that doesn't handle like it should. Personally I'd just get the springs from Moss.
Well,...I am in the process of listing and relisting some MGA bits on ebay,as we speak. I had a set on ebay that I am relisting, they are from a 58 MGA, I will hold off on them if you are interested.Old Ebay # 200150076951. Let me know.
Thanks Wyatt but I think I am going to purchase the new early mgb springs for $27 each instead of going for the 58 mga springs.

Liam, as you are buying new springs anyway, a nice combo on the MGA are the next stiffer Moss springs 264-387 at $49 a whack.
The 550 lb springs lower the car about an inch and work beautifully with a 3/4" front sway bar on an MGA, should you ever wish to upgrade. Cheaper to put the stiiffer springs in now than refit later and I think you'll like the result even if you don't fit a sway bar right away.
