Does anyone run tube rear shocks on a MGA? I've got a set of mounts and I want to know if it would be worth the switch from the (newly o/hd) armstrongs and if so what shocks do you use? Street use only so I feel like it might be a waste of time but I'll ask anyway.
Thanks
Ricky

Rick, I don't have them on my MGA but do on my Midget and if it wasn't for the panhard bracket that I built into the shock mount I'd go back to the lever action shocks. Unless you are racing and have a very modified suspension I don't think the tube shocks are worth the effort. Most wind up being set at the softest or nearly the softest settings to get a reasonable ride quality.

Personally I'd stay with the original lever action shocks.

No real benefits and lots of problems trying to get tube shocks right. Stick with lever.

Thanks for the input everyone, the tube mounts will just keep collecting dust.
