It has been long enough since I restored my B now that I have almost fully recovered (almost) and have started on the MGA! I picked this partially completed project up from a nice fellow in Atlanta named Jack a few months back but haven't had a chance to work on it because I have moved since then, have a new job, etc.
But now I have started work! First task at hand is rebuild the kingpins. One is painted and ready to reassemble and the other is soaking in mineral spirits to free it up :)
So about the project - Frame is done - powder coated. Body metal repair is done and car is in primer. Jack bought a bunch of parts for the car, including a 5-speed Sierra transmission, which came with the car. Purists don't worry, this one is going to be pretty much stock to even the trained eye, except for the 5-speed that is :)
A few pics follow. Wish me luck!

Hi Norm,
I admired the work you did on the B when I frequented the B forum more often. Now I see you got sucked in by the A mystic as well! I am looking forward to seeing your progress. I am sure it will be quality!
John
Looks like a good start! Glad to see you've got another project. It's in good hands! It'll be ready for MG's on the Green this fall, right? :-)
Thanks guys, it is pretty far along really considering all the body work is done, but still I am taking my time on this one and will probably try and paint it myself. I'm shooting for a spring 2010 completion :)
Looks like a nice project to carry on. Keep us posted Norm.
Looks really nice. We all love to see progress pictures! Stay in touch.
Peter
