MGB Snugtop Hardtop 4 Sale $275

Buyer will need to pick up in East Meadow, NY Top has hold down L brackets on the sides but needs front latches. Price is firm at $275.00

I don't need one (have 1), David...but I have seen these where the threaded inserts where the front clamp attaches have broken out and it's impossible to attach the clamps (which are available from Pegasus racing) using screws. You'd either have to get a new insert in there (riv-nut, maybe) or bond a clamp in position.

I had one (that I bought before I understood the situation<G>) where 3 of the 4 were broken out and someone had already tried (and failed) to use new inserts. Plus the rubber was totally shot and the McGregor price made it a lot cheaper to find and buy another one where none of these issues existed.

The incerts are fine on this top. I do believe there is one broken screw that needs to be removed.

I have not been getting a good response from this forum... these will likely be my last offerings here. I'm back to work now, so my time is limited for this kind of stuff.
