I am convinced that I recently saw something somewhere about a battery compartment cover that would lift up without having to screw around with the existing Dzus's. Am I hallucinating again?

I know that Clark and Clark inc has a "Quick-Lift" Battery cover for the earlier MBGs.

Perhaps that was what you were think of?

This is not spring loaded but I can easily reach it from the drivers seat, lift the lid and turn the Battery cut off switch off and on.

Yup it was the Clark&Clark unit, that sure is nice. But Mick's set up is even nicer!! Well done indeed! I'm gonna try and fabricate something that combines Mick's and C&C, I'll post pix when I'm done, but it will be in the spring. Thanks for the responses!!
Mike
