I have some warrantee work I need done on my 'B. nah... Just joking
Seriously though, after MG officially pulled out of the US, how long did the dealer network stick around?
I think peugeot still maintains an office in New Jersey... An they haven't sold a car here in two decades.

At age 17 ('80) I got my 1st real job at Sports Car South here (MG, Fiat, Alfa) and for service and parts (I was the go-fer) it was a nightmare of unfixable warranty issues and screaming customers; emissions - choked, fire - prone B's and Midgets and rusting and self-destructing Fiats (the Alfas were OK)
I remember in '82 when all the Leyland wtys were over business dropped sharply and by '84 when Fiat pooched (and I was parts mgr but left) it was about zero. The place got eaten in '85 by a huge Toyota dealer (Potamkin), and remains so today.
I had a beat up orange '68 RD at the time, paid $600 for it, but it ran great
