I was traveling on NC 16 in Ashe County NC Saturday evening about 6:00 and saw 12-15 B's BGT's, A's T's and a lonely Morgan headed south to Wilkes County or the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Every one seemed to be having a great time, tops down enjoying the road. who were these "masked " folks? The leaves will be peaking in this area the 21st and after if another trip is needed or planned.

I believe that was the fall tour by the North Carolina MG car Club and The Piedmont British Motor Club. I'm a member of both clubs but didn't make the tour.

The "Masked Folks" are from the North Carolina MG Car Club out of Raleigh, NC. This was their annual trip to the mountains with a stop in Blowing Rock, NC. Jack Austin and I were the first to arrive to give them a big mountain welcome. I will try to post pictures this evening.

I hope everyone had a great time. the weather was great for a top down cruise and I'm sure hour hosts in blowing Rock were entertaining.

The red GT and the yellow Midget with the trailer are both folks from my local car club.
