I went to the MG's on the Green an Amgb meet in Mint Hill today.. It was a great meet with some beautiful cars and great MG people.. We meet James and Mark for eggs with Jeff and some other MG folks.
I only took one picture.. The show was at the Mint Hill Madness fall carnival and they were having a dog show on the same field as the show. I took a pic of this cute dog.. As I snapped the photo he raised his leg a peed on a TR4.. What a shame..

Glad he didn't get my B, I was parked right next to the TR 4
I saw that dog too. My first instinct was to kick him away, but I'm glad I didn't, because judging from how long he stayed there, he must have really had to go.
Gary, you should post this story and pic on the Triumph site. I know they'd love it...

Yeah, all he needed was a little doggie sweater with the MG logo. Maybe one of you photoshop buffs could fix him up.
some more shots from yesterday.....

MGB best of show, beautiful silver color

On the "GREEN" - that "GREEN" looks like my lawn in these times of drought and water restrictions here in Australia
You're right, Eric...
Charlotte has been in a drought all summer... the big lake is 6' below the top of the dam... the lowest level in 5 years.
This show used to take place on the "village green" in Davidson, adjacent Davidson College, hence the name... but it outgrew the location. It moved over to the lake for a few years in a nice shady grove, and now is held on a hot, dusty baseball field.
It was a great day for a show yesterday. I got to talk with Gary E, Norm, Dave Rushing (ROADSTR6), Jeff, Daniel, Mike Joy (200mph), Paul Slice (pauls78), Tom Traylor, Don Walton, and Clifton Gordon, all off of the BBS. Here are some pictures I took:
Paul and I both agreed that Frank's car must be really fun to drive with the suspension and drivetrain choices.

I always forget to take pictures of this car, but I did this time because I really like the bumper treatment on it. The turn signal lenses though....

Seeing this was really cool. Probably the only ZS in the US.
