I was going to drive the B to work one last time yesterday, but didn't because the forecast said snow in the evening and I got off work at 9PM. It wasn't the snow that stopped me, I just didn't want a big snow that would bring out the salt trucks. I've been told they are loaded and ready to spread. It snowed and sleeted. The B days are officially over until Spring:(
It is snowing as I type this just before heading off to work again today. On my next day off which won't be until next Thursday (pulling 8 in a row) I will put the B up on it's jackstands and clean it up for it's Winter's nap. I like to get the wheels off the ground and let the springs relax. Plus if I want to do something underneath the car it is all set for that. I do have a rebound strap to replace.(Right side snapped, left side is as good as new???) Luckily I found a good strap in my bins. I also am in the process of going through my bins and organizing them so I know what I have. I'm doing that in the warmth of my new shop in the basement. I hope to avoid the garage this Winter and avoid the Kerosene heater. Heater creates too much moisture and the garage door gets water logged and then freezes. Not good.

Truly the saddest time of the year for us in the Northern climes. Not bad here in PA today. Going to drop off the wife's 69B in Reading later and pick up my GT. (blown head gasket replaced).
Supposed to snow here tomorrow, so I may do what you're doing and organize my mountain-o-spares. I do plan on driving the GT throughout the winter. Need my MG fix once in a while.
Nice work area Peter. You remind me again why I left the cold country. My only problem is the single car garage and two "B"s. The roadster
gets to live there in rainy season while GT huddles in draped car cover.
Peter your work area is one thing I wish we had in the south. A basement. I really could put one to use. We just didn't think of them when we built houses years ago. My house is 50 years old, but I do have about a 4 foot basement of about 600 sq ft for storage when I added on about 35 years ago. I'm always amazed when we travel in the north that the houses seem so small then I have to remember that all have basements. Ours are just spread over 1/2 block of property. At least I have a 700 sq ft shop at the back of my property line.
Peter, Just another compliment on the neatness and cleanliness of your work area.
Every time I see photos of your shop or basement, I'm just amazed.
I guess that's because my work area usually looks like Fred Sanford's yard.:)
