I wanted to share a couple pictures of my MG with its final coat of Harvest Gold paint finished late last night. Took me three years to get to this point but is a special day for me. Thanks to everyone over the years on the MG experience forum for answering questions and this is always a place to find helpful tips. Re-Assembly is next on the horizon.

Ton of work ain't it? Good news is that it is downhill from where you are. Hope you took a lot of pictures!

Thanks!!! - It is Harvest Gold. It is the original color, but I finished it in base and clear coat instead of the original single stage. The color was discontinued by British Leyland in early 1976. My car was built in October 1975 so there are fewer 1976 models in that color.

Great color, just like Grand Ma's Fridge.

I have a 72 the same color.

Hey! I had a fridge that color! And I think a turtle neck too!

My dad bought a Harvest Gold '74-1/2 in the mid-80's and I hated it....these days, I think it's a very classy, and period-correct color for those early RB cars.

Looks great.

Looking good! And thanks for preserving one of the more rare B colors instead of going with BRG or Resale Red.
