Does Moss still sell the competition intake exhaust manifold gasket, and does anyone know what the dimensions of the intake and exhaust ports are on it?
Thanks

The openings in the gasket are larger than you'll need unless you're using HS6 (1.75") carbs. Then you have to relieve the gasket. Moss still sells 297-546 - their "high performance manifold gasket." One of the metalized ones that's metal on both sides will work and for serious race cars I've squirreled away a few of the old "all asbestos" ones that are the best I've ever seen. For a street application, almost any of them will work just fine. Basil

Anyone truly interested in a production run of asbestos gaskets please PM me.

I have to confess what I was really trying to find out is, what would the port sizes be on a rally spec head that had been opened up to the "Moss Competition Gasket" dimension?

I don't know the port sizes or anything like that of the moss header gasket but I can attest to the fact that they work great. I'm using a header with my MGB. With the metal ones, it was leaking like mad. With this gasket, it's just much better and doesn't leak at all.
