Moss sells Front Fenders for my 65' B Part #'s... 457-360 and 457-340. The cost is $869.95 each.
The fenders from VB are 11-792-T and 11-793-T. The cost is $599.95 each.

Has anyone seen or used either fender, or both for that matter? Why such a price difference?

If I remember correctly, VB will get you on the shipping.

TRF usually has the best price on Heritage panels.

No, it is not the shipping! I thought is was at firs too. They will both ship for free over $1000.00

Double check the free shipping, they usually don't ship free if it involves truck freight, which I think may apply to fenders.

Take it from someone who bought an aftermarket fender. If its not BMH then don't buy it. The aftermarket fenders simply do not fit properly. You'll spend more than the difference labor to make it work. Is the VB fender BMH?.

Vb despite having no tec dept are a good outfit....they usually sell the same parts as Moss do but are quicker and cheaper

Yes. The VB Fenders are BMH.

I have had excellent luck with patch panels from VB - dog leg, front fender lower panel upto chrome line, and floor boards. Also had good experiences with TRF.

Then check the freight costs and you should be good to go with VB if all else is the same.

I bought a lot of parts from both suppliers this year and I don't have any complaints about either one. Sometimes VB is less, sometimes Moss. Just takes a little homework to find the best deal for the moment... Do be sure to check TRF too!

Don't count on the Heritage fenders bolting right up either. What is wrong with yours? Do a lot of bodywork for $1200...just saying.

i have bought parts from both companies in the past few years and everything has been fine with each. some things are cheaper at one or the other. i just compare both

Someone needs to make a program that searches a part on Moss, Roop, B-Hive, LBCC, VB, Northern, TRF, etc. Automatically calulates shipping and taxes.

Is there an app for that? ::o

Sometimes the cheaper price at VB is eaten up by the high shippimg cost. You really need to compare the total cost, parts and shipping. The last two orders i've gotten, one from each were USPS priorty shipping which I was glad to see.

My Heritage right front fender from Moss bolted right in place.

Yes, the holes allow a lot of adjustment; but, the finished installation is very good.

Moss usually has better customer service... but most of the parts are the same AJ

Do you have a local MG mechanic/body guy that and kind a good fender for you. I bought a good one off a parts car for $200. What side do you need? I have the original off my car. It is a passenger side fender. It is in pretty good shape just more work than I wanted to do. I would let someone have it if they wanted it.
