Hey everyone!

We just passed the 6,000 members mark here at The MG Experience! Woohoo!
(All members, including free ones)

I've been wondering how many members we have the potential to attract, does anyone know approximately how many a club like the NAMGBR or MGOC has?

NAMGBR has between 1800 and 2000 members. It is geared more towards the MGB, the MGB/GT, the modern Midget, the MG1100, the MG1300, and the modern (post-Abingdon) MGs. Dues are $30/year for members in the US and Canada; slightly more for members outside of those geographic regions.

Thanks Rick, that's very interesting! Looks like there's a ton of growth potential still with the site, I better get back to work on it :D

Wow, that's a huge number of members, Skye. Now does the 6,000 represent the entire site including all forums or just the MGB Experience BBS forum? I know, it's getting about time for me to upgrade from being a freeloader. Soon, Skye, soon after I'm back to work for a while. I have to have my banker's permission (on everything for a while). I'm itching to also use some of the new vendors I've found through great links posted by the members. Also, I want to use the services provided by members of this site. You've done a fabulous job through the years maintaining and expanding this site. It's the best of the best. Thanks Skye.

As a recent newbie to this site, I am impressed by the knowledge as well as the caliber of the people that are contributing to make this successful.

I have particapated on other automotive sites and none come close to the feeling of friendship and a willingness to help each other out.

I have sent payment to upgrade my membership to Silver Status. The knowledge and money/time I have saved is well worth the $2.00 monthly fee.

Wonder how many of the 6K are supporting members?

Holding steady at around 4% of total, Gerry.

FOUR percent? That is totally unfair. I'll bet there is at LEAST 90pct of the people here that have saved the cost of membership at least 3-4 x over.
C'mon you people... ANTE UP!

Same concept with NAMGBR.....it's amazing how many registrants for the national events are non-members.

I urge you to consider joining both a local club AND a national register if you've not done so already!
