After being vacant for about 12 months, the North American MGB Register wishes to announce our new 1974 ½ Registrar, Scott Perry.

Many of you enjoyed photos from Scott’s recent journey from Atlanta, thru Memphis returning to his home in California, with his “new” 1974 ½ MGB/GT.
Scott’s story is featured in the March/April MGB Driver, in the mail soon.

With his enthusiasm for the new car and having previous registrar experience, Scott accepted the vacant position within NAMGBR and is currently updating his database of this special crossover between two eras of MGB production. Look for his first report in The May/June edition.

Welcome to the NAMGBR family Scott.

Welcome, Scott!

You'll do a great job!

Check up on me and make sure I sent in the numbers of my GT...if I have not, please beat me and get me on track!

Thanks all, I'm looking forward to picking up where Steve Harding left off. Those are truly some big shoes to fill judging by what I'm seeing in the archives but I'm confident I can carry the load.

I'll make a call/plea to all the '74.5 owners to re-register or update their info in an upcoming edition of the MGB Driver but I'd be more than happy to get the info. coming my way now.

VIN #s, production info and general car data are key for the register, of course, but the personal stories and pics really bring it to life. I'll weave those into my regular installments. Send me what you have and I'll do my best to immortalize you!

Thanks in advance.

A really cool Experience. One for the books. Scott is obviously an enthusiastic B owner, to say the least. Hope he manages to hang out here on the Forum and "meet" as many members as possible.

Very glad to have been on the other end. You can easily imagine the look on his face when that garage door opened!

Scott,

I'll have to send you the updated information on my car as well.

If you need a hand beating the information out of Rick Ingram, let me know.
I am always interested in leading a hand :)
