finally joined the forum , seen a mgb gt in a barn and new i wanted one started researching mgbs and found this sight i have learned alot and went and purchased my 1974 MGB GT . the MG forums are a great help on the knowledge on LBC.

I have noticed that to Brian....must be spring?
they are talking about selling it has been setting since 1992 i think it is a 70
i bought new superlites from Hap waiting for the tires to get here hopfully tomorrow then i will post pic

If it's a '70 it will have 2 piece ("split") rear bumpers. The only year made. Rare, but not necessarily means a higher $$$$.

I am Confused (not that new really). Do you have a 74 and then just found another BGT in a barn? Either way, welcome to the community!
Mirror location was a dealer installed issue and they were in several places in the chrome bumper B's. Mirror placement will not date a car that well.
that is what i like about this forum always learning something new , hopefully i will get a chance to look at it again and check the id plate dont know if they are just talking or are serious about selling , had offered to buy it before i went to ohio to buy the gt i have
