If it's a '70 it will have 2 piece ("split") rear bumpers. The only year made. Rare, but not necessarily means a higher $$$$.

Welcome. A great forum filled with interesting characters and great information.

Ah!

I've a friend who recently retired as a hospital administrator at the Salem hospital.

Salem's somewhat near Benton as well, right?!

the one thing that i noticed about it at that time i saw it had the passenger side mirror on the fender didnt pay much attention to the bumpers and most of the photos i have seen with the mirror on the fender was a 70 and of course iam assuming so you no what that means

I am Confused (not that new really). Do you have a 74 and then just found another BGT in a barn? Either way, welcome to the community!

benton is about 60 miles south of me

Mirror location was a dealer installed issue and they were in several places in the chrome bumper B's. Mirror placement will not date a car that well.
