Does anyone know of an MG specialist in the Vermont or New Hampshire area? I remember going skiing and seeing a place on the way that had the MG logo on the roof...but I don't remember exaclty where. It may no longer exist as that was 20 sum years ago. Wondering if anyone might remember such a place.

No, britbits are on the coast of New Hampshire, the place I'm thinking of was inland either in Vermont, or just over the border in New Hampshire. But thanks for the help. It may well be gone for all I know.

Can you narrow it down a bit? What's your best guess as to where you were coming from and going to when you saw the place? In a town or middle of nowhere? Were you in the habit of driving the backroads or are you a highway guy. Not that there are many to chose from in Vermont!

Sports car services is a classy outfit. I had a headgasket replaced there
on my American roadtrip a few years ago.

David knows his stuff, and their shop is simply a place you must see.

I live in Milford NH. I've bought a number of parts from Brit-Tek in Deerfield NH. See www.brittek.com . Ive never been there. even though I live so close Ive allways bought over the phone. Ive talked to a guy named Bob. He really knows his stuff. And I think their prices are good.

Im not posative but believe I've heard of a shop in woodstock vt. which is not too far from killington.

You are remembering the late Jerry Goegan's (sp?) Abingdon Spares on the southern VT/NH border. It was the place to get T series parts in its day.
The sign is still up.
Abingdon Spares may still be around, under new management.

Brad is correct. Gerry Gougen did pass away a number of years ago and the business is now under new management. I'm not sure if they are in the same place or if they have moved. The business was (is) in Walpole NH and the Museum was in Westminster VT. They are right across the river from each other. We've been to both places many times while it was a thriving endeavor. The business that was mentioned previously on this thread (Westminster Sports Car Services) is I believe right in front of where the museum was housed. I too have heard very good reports about them.

There is a place on Rt 12, Walpole NH, between Keene and Bellows Falls VT that has a big MG logo on the end of his barn . I think he only sells TC, TD, TF parts.

Its been there forever http://www.abingdonsparesllc.com/index.html

This board is the best. I remembered the place but it had been so long. It took me a while to jog my memory as to just where I was when I saw it. We would take route 12 from where I live right up to Bellows Falls VT on the way to Okemo or Killington. I always remember seeing the big logo on the roof. I think it's the place in Walpole, that would make sense. Thanks for the help...I'll have to take a trip up there in the B this summer...once I finish the multiple projects I have in the works...or maybe it will have to wait 'til fall.
