Naomi made a post in the D. Patrick thread below that sparked my memory about this ghost.
I must have missed it, but what ever became of "her" ?

Yeah, I'd say school. We keep in touch a lot on MySpace, but she hasn't read the message that I sent her a couple days ago yet.
What's with the quotes around "her"?
You think she's fronting?

I just read where you were avoiding the OT Forum.....Glad you weren't serious :)
Scott, there was a gaggle of folks off forum who were in serious doubt about the validity of Nannie. We thought, and I still do, that too many of the nuances of "her" posts were inconsistent with who she represented herself to be.
Now understand, I'm not trying to trash "her" and neither were any of the others, it just seemed too odd that "she" should suddenly find her way here and have the poise and knowledge that she did. If I remember even James was not that cool when I first ran across him and he had been here for ages prior to my finding this place.
If you are reading this Nanny, no offence intended. We just thought that some of the things that you said were pretty dog gone enticing to some of the men folk here and we were getting a few laughs out of their responses.
If you are for real, great! Welcome to the zoo. If you ain't keep up the good work. ;-)
In the interests of full disclosure I will say that most of what I post here is in fact representative of who I am. The only real transgression for me is my avatar. I am NOT the aged hippie in the photo. I used it just because I thought that it was funny. To be more fair I think that I have a self image more in the model of Tom Cruise or perhaps Brad Pitt, but alas, I guess that I am too old to be one of them them so I'll have to settle for Charlton Heston or Gregory Peck. LOL
Jack
Off Forum speculation is that Jack is the identical twin brother of our own JDW.
I resemble that remark Marc!
I AM better looking but I don't fly a plane with a long scarf fluttering around my neck. LOL
The Off Forum folks included at least one of the female persuasion, and I have to trust that those folks are better at identifying a fraud than us dogs.

I would say that since she also has an active MySpace page would lead me to believe she is real. Setting up a MySpace page just to make her personality seem real is a bit of a stretch don't you think?

www.myspace.com
It's a social networking site. You create your own page and connect it with friends pages... gets a lot more complicated than that but that's the basics.
Here's mine:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=15874332
And I'm positive she's real!
I thought she would set a record for how fast she was piling up posts. Wasn't she nearing 100 after only a couple days?
Lonnie
I sent her a PM concerning the relatively adult point of view that most of her posts had , and got a rather lengthy reply concerning her father giving her an MGB for a birthday present. Seemed pretty real and well thought out to me. But who am I , besides a dirty old man impressed by the young girl with a nice car?

What the hell's wrong with that?????????
Jack, you wrote, "If I remember even James was not that cool when I first ran across him and he had been here for ages prior to my finding this place."
Although James is a likable, polite and mature (in person) young man, and even though he had been here on the forum for a few years, he was still only about 13 or14 years old in 2005. Without doing a search, I believe that Nannie is 17 or 18, and that could account for their differences in perspective.

For those of us who saw the photos before you pulled them on a recent thread, I think your avatar is pretty darn close. Like mine is. :)
