I need a timing cover for an MGA. I want to use a cover from a B since it has a rubber seal instead of the felt seal which is used on MGAs. I recently bought a B cover and the face was dented when it arrived. Instead of returning it, I thought with a little persuasion I could straighted it. Wrong- it leaks and I mean it leaks a lot. Anyone with a Good timing cover? One which has not been "pushed in" - I'm in need of one. Thanks, Mike in Spring City, PA

Don't forget that different timing covers had different timing scales on them. You should try to match harmonic balancers with timing covers... or at least try to somehow convert whatever you get to the same as your A.

Now might also be a time to replace your grenade of a pressed-steel crank pulley (mine is one of the many that blew up) with an MGB cast unit!
