welcome to the forum...much good info to be found here and everyone is always willing to help. you have found a great place
OK, so I just want to take a moment to babble on a bit before tackling a piece of picked fence that has to be painted in the basement and thank everyone for being so welcoming. Feels like family!
We bought the MGA last year and she was under the weather for the British Marque Triatholn in Northport ME so a friend gave us his MGB GT for the trip. Now, I had never even thought of a GT. Why would anyone want a little car that was not a rag top? Well, on that trip I simply fell in love with that little car. With the overdrive, we could keep up with traffic (sort of), there was plenty of room, it was quiet, great visibility, no fear of rain, pretty darn cute as well not to mention the luxury of roll up windows! Golly, we can go ANYWHERE with this! The hunt was on. Not many GTs in this area but I did succeed and look forward to putting allot of miles on her this Summer and well into the cold season til the snow flies.
Sue
Thanks Paul,
I gave it a try. Let me know if it worked. I am so not into this stuff!

Just re-visited this thread and much to my surprise Laura IS wearing a hat! Wonder if she wears it while working on the MG?

And a shop coat, no doubt. I don't see any pockets for tools...
but the high heels are handy for reaching those hard to reach items
Now that the young croud has welcomed you, here is a big welcome from a representative of the older bunch. I am a young 76. Welcome to the MG family.
