The NFL win bodes prosperity on the market and a Republican in the White House...that's what they said on MSNBC anyway.

I believe Mr Ingram refers to the urban legend that Mr Hoffa resides beneath the turf at the winning teams home field in New Jersey, the Meadowlands. But the more salient issue is why are they called the NY Giants when they are really the NJ Giants....:S

Bob i'll give you a pass as how could i expect someone from were you live to understand. They are not and i repeat not a New Jersey team, never were and never will be. I wont comment on the Hoffa part and dont get your hopes up about getting a repub in the white house unless you have a secret canidate we dont know about

Sly
How can they be the NY Giants if there home stadium is in New Jersey?

Are the Dodgers still Brooklyn Dodgers playing in LA?

The stock market and President are simply predictions from others about an NFC Superbowl win. No dog in the fight.

Robert, your right on the money! They should have kept just the "Giants" as their logo
instead of NY. Great job Gmen.

Robert the stadum was built in the meadowlands of New Jersey which is in the shadows of NYC. The city simply could not find a suitable spot.

Who cares? It is big money but still just a game. Keep it in perspective. It is entertainment. Nothing more, nothing less.

It was very good entertainment, the better team won and always does, it was a gigantic commercial enterprise, Indy and Indiana profited huge, and the senior NFC team win omens national prosperity lies ahead all via a sport uniquely American in how it is played.

I'll pass on the Thai and have a second helping of Mom's apple pie and the drink of Indy Champs, a cold glass of milk...make mine buttermilk!

Sly, we all live in the "shadow" of NYC one way or another. I like the Giants I just don't get the claim a team based in New Jersey is a defacto NY team...sounds like a Republican scam...

Do you know there are rules against personal attacks? Sorry I am no idiot, I trust you will offer up an apology for the insult.

Also Rich, as Joe alludes too.. if you want to portray yourself as an intellectual giant by calling someone an idiot, perhaps a basic understanding of your native tongue would help..
