Just put a new starter in the Midget yesterday. Today--70 F, sunny--so I took it for a drive. Car is clean, top down and running good--how much better can it get?

I can't wait for that day. Mine is just now running after 18 years. Tune it and fix the clutch and I'll be in your shoes.

It's nice that it finally warmed up a little down here. I kicked myself for not driving mine to work today.

Dude, did you get the timing and carbs sorted out yet?

why yes I did. Took out the platinum plugs and put in some cheap copper core plugs and changed the points. She fired right up. Set the timing ang when it stops raining here I'll tune the carbs and bleed the clutch. I'm excited

Seems like I'm always sober these days. Be careful dude, just dont weld drunk. I..uh..I mean someone I know welded the rear spring front mounts to the floorboards. Keep at it guys, and don't worry once you have it back on the road there will be plenty to keep you busy. I painted in December of 2007 and have had the engine out once more, and just yesterday I think I finally have the cooling sytem sorted. Also my next project getting it running will be the last thing I do, thats the easy part. Going throught the engine first is a mistake I won't make again. Keep at it guys.

Just don't drink and weld. I..I mean someone I know..welded the rear spring front mounts to the floorboards once. Keep at it guys. My next project I'm doing the body work first and getting it running last, that's the easy part. I painted mine in December 2007, been driving it since, and I think I finally got the cooling system sorted out yesterday. So don't worry about what your going to do after you get it on the road.
