Does anyone out there know anything about these? They are carbon fiber and kind of pricy. I am in the process of proting and polishing the head on my '73 GT, street cam etc. If no one has any experience with these, what are the best plugs and wires to use. When I decide what I want/need, I plan to have Advanced Distrutors rebuild the distributor. Since I'm kind of new here, why is it called a "dizzy"? Please be kind, I'm ignorant not stupid.
thanks for any and all help

Always remember the 6 P's.
Prior planning prevents piss poor preformance.

MY buddy Wicker tried them in his Porsche on the dyno about 10 years ago. They actually reduced performance. Like many products, their idea is that if theyt charge alot, people will think that they must be good. But electricity takes the path of least resistance.

Dont know about the wires ( I defer to Basil's expertise)
Dizzy is easier to type. I prefer distributor but have been known to use dizzy too.

Best plugs - NGK BP6ES
Best wires - the ones with a good warranty. You'll find most wires are identical under the name stamped on them. I sell Bosch with a lifetime warranty because they're the same as most wires you can buy anywhere, but less expensive. Magnecor are truly a bit different with a steel wire wrapped shielding between two layers of insulation. Good stuff, but pricey. Nology is just over the top and as likely to fail as a distributor condenser, since that's basically what's built into them to amplify power.

Hi Jeff,
Would you say the Magnecor are worth the price? Moss has some new ones that they're very proud of, their "Cobalt" wires. Any thoughts on those? Just the same old thing?

I heard the Cobalts are actually a horrible purple color, but that's my experience with those. The dyno says that Magnecors are beat by simple, inexpensive solid core wires. You can get the same results with cheap wires, and feel better by buying 2-3 sets for the same price.
