This is an unmoleted '53 Jag that sat in a garage for 25 years!! So far all the owner has done is clean it up...
The show was sponsored by the North FL Jaguar Club so there were lots of Jags at the show
Here are the last two pictures: the top one is a '63 MK II that just underwent a $40,000+ restoration. The bottom one is my '63 MK II that I sold last summer. Ahhhh, what could have been. Of course it would have taken me 25 years to get it done!
Man, those are great. Thanks for sharing! The 53 Jag coupe is a real find. A lady I work with has a 57 that had belonged to her father. She's 60-ish and it was "her" car when she got her driver's license in high school (lucky brat!)
I'm surprised that place wanted to put up with all th oil stains on their fancy brick pavers! :)
Oh, they don't, Ryan! Part of the material they give you when you arrive is an oil drip pan big enough to roast a turkey in! And they won't allow any cars to park on the grass.
Had a customer in Tallahassee, a fellow by the name of Nick Falcon. He had a silver one and I will never forget being accosted by MANY admiring women while road testing it on I-10. I've lusted after one ever since. The closest that I have come lately is John's XK140 but he hasn't let me loose with it alone yet. LOL Anyone getting to Dobson this week end will get to see it though.
BTW: EXCELLENT photos of "real" cars. Thanks for posting them....I don't suppose the owners had to bring drip pans to keep those lovely walkway bricks clean. LOL

Nice shots, nice cars and beautiful venue. I got a tear looking at the 3000 MK III and the Healey 100. Sorry I sold my 2. Was that an M or just the standard 100?
George Herschell
I think it is the standard 100. A couple more just for you, George....
Beautiful cars! Thanks for sharing. I love the early Healeys!
BTW - While I was out today, I saw a Lotus that looked exactly like that one on a used car lot. Of course I had to stop and take a look!
Thanks again. Tears and all. I had the three the MG's and the two Healeys and someone walked in my garage once looked at the cars and asked "what do you do for a hobby"?
That is what forced me to make my decision to thin the herd. Sorry I sold them in one respect but I did see both cars after they had been completely restored and the new owners did a great job on both cars.
Again thanks for the photos.
George
